Self-Study Video Hub

Offline videos are designed for children who cannot access the internet in their area to continue on their learning journey. Since the military took over, many people experience daily internet or power outages and only have access to a mobile phone service in some areas. In the Sagaing Region and other areas where the military junta has waged numerous violent attacks against innocent citizens, internet access is completely non existent.

To make learning accessible for these students, the films feature interactive lessons. Additionally, for follow-up learning based on videos, our teachers provide activities to foster children’s creativity, critical thinking, and online research abilities. The videos are created by the teachers using many visual aids, similar to a storytelling approach. We upload videos to our YouTube channel and share them with anyone looking for learning and teaching resources to support alternative education in a variety of ‘out-of-school’ circumstances. Hence, students from areas without internet access can benefit from ongoing learning.
